The first Arkansas whetstones delivered excellent results in numerous preliminary tests and offer everyone who prefers sharpening on a whetstone the familiar grinding sensation. As with the oil stones, natural Novaculit is the decisive component. However, as is usual with whetstones, it is enclosed on a matrix. This structure ensures high effectiveness as well as a very long life span compared to Japanese whetstones.
